The Nats quickly tied the game up at one-all in their half of the fourth as Ryan Zimmerman hits a lead-off home run, his twenty-fifth home run of the year. The Nats took the lead two batters later as, with a runner on second, and with still nobody out, Tyler Moore hits an RBI double, knocking in Michael Morse, who had just doubled, giving the Nats a 2-1 lead. The Nats increased their lead in the sixth as, with one man out, Moore hits a solo home run, his tenth home run of the season, giving the Nats a 3-1 lead. The Nats then added to their lead in the eighth as, with one man on, and with nobody out, Morse hits a two-run home run, his eighteenth home run of the year, knocking in pinch runner Bryce Harper, who was pinch running for Zimmerman, who had started the inning off with a walk, giving the Nats a 5-1 lead. The Phils increased their lead in the fourth as, with runners on second and third, and with two men out, Rollins hits a two-run single, knocking in John Mayberry, Jr., who had started the inning off with a single, moved up to second base on Laynce Nix’s walk, then went to third base on Kyle Kendrick’s sacrifice bunt, 1-4, and Nix, who had earlier walked, then stopped at second base on Kendrick’s sac bunt, giving the Phils a 3-0 lead. Three solo home runs help power the new look Phils into a two-game winning streak against the first-place Nats, defeating Washington, 3-2.

Three solo home run, including a pair from Jimmy Rollins, for his second and third home runs in two straight days, help push the Phils past the first-place Nats, 3-2.

The Nats took the lead in the first as, with the bases loaded, via a single by Bryce Harper, a walk to Chad Tracy, sending Harper to second base, and a fielding error by third baseman Kevin Frandsen on a Michael Morse grounder to third, allowing both runners to move up a base, and Morse to safely reach first base, and with one man out, Adam LaRoche hits an RBI single, knocking in Harper, giving the Nats a 1-0 lead, while moving up a base both Tracy and Morse, leaving the bases loaded. The Nats then took a 2-0 lead as Danny Espinosa hits into a 4-6 force out, for the inning’s second out, as LaRoche is wiped out at second base, while Tracy scores, and Morse moves up to third base.  The Nats then tried to increase their lead in the second as, with a man on second base, and with two men out, Edwin Jackson, who had earlier singled, then moved up to second base on Steve Lombardozzi’s ground out, 5-3, tried to score on Harper’s single to left, but is gun down on a strong, one-hop throw by left fielder Dom Brown, as catcher Erik Kratz blocked the plate before applying the tag for the inning’s final out, keeping it a 2-0 Nats’ lead. The Phils then made it a 2-1 Nats’ lead in the third as, with two men out, Jimmy Rollins hits a solo home run, his eleventh home run of the season, and his second home run in as many games. The Phils tied the game up at two-all in the fifth as Rollins strikes again, as he hits a lead-off home run, his twelfth home-run of the year and his third home run in two days. The Phils then took the lead one batter later as Nate Schierholtz followed with a solo home run of his own, his sixth home run of the season, and his first as a Phil, giving the Phils a 3-2 lead. That would be the final score, as the pitching staff held off the Nats, until Jonathan Papaelbon recorded his twenty-third save of the season by pitching a 1-2-3 ninth.

The Orioles took the lead in the first as, with the bases loaded, via a Robert Andino single, a walk to Adam Jones, sending Andino to second base, a double steal by Andino and Jones, and then a walk to Derrek Lee, and with nobody out, Vladmir Guerrero, knocking in Andino, giving the Orioles a 1-0 lead, while sending Jones up to third base and Lee to second base, with still no one out. The Orioles then took a 2-0 lead as, with the bases still loaded, and with now one man out, Nolan Reimold forced in a run with a walk, forcing in Jones, while moving both Lee and Guerrero up a base. The Orioles then made it 3-0 as Randy Winn hits into an RBI force out, 4-unassisted, as Guerrero scored, while Reimold is forced out at second base for the inning’s second out, as Lee moved up to third while Winn is safe at first. The Phils cut the Orioles’ lead in the second as John Mayberry, Jr. hits a two-run home run, his fifth home run of the spring, scoring Ross Gload, who had earlier singled, making it a 3-2 Orioles’ lead. The Orioles took the lead in the first as, with two men on, and with one man out, Jake Fox hits an RBI double, scoring Randy Winn, who had earlier walked, and then moved up to second on a Brendan Harris walk, which sending Harris, who had earlier walked, over to third base, giving the Orioles a 1-0 lead. One batter later, the Orioles made it a 2-0 lead as Josh Bell hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Harris from third. The Phils got a run back in the fourth as Ryan Howard hits a lead-off home run, his third home run of the spring, making it a 2-1 Orioles’ lead. The Phils then tied it up at two-all in the fifth as, with a runner on second, and with one man out, Shane Victorino hits an RBI double, knocking in Josh Barfield, who had been safe at first on a force out, 6-4, as Carlos Ruiz, who had earlier walked, was wiped out at second base, then stole second base. The Orioles retook the lead in the sixth as, with a runner on second, and with one out, Bell hits an RBI double, scoring Nolan Reimold, who had earlier been hit by the pitch, then stole second base, giving the Orioles a 3-2 lead.
