Aaron Nola (2-2, 2.93) got the win as he threw seven scoreless innings, giving up two hits and a walk, while striking out seven. Hector Neris received his sixth hold of the season by pitching a 1-2-3 inning, striking out the side. Jeanmar Gomez collected his ninth save of the year by pitching a scoreless ninth, giving up a hit, while striking out a batter. Michael Wacha (2-2, 2.65) took the lost as he pitched eight innings, giving up a run on five hits and three walks, while striking out eight. Jonathan Broxton pitched a 1-2-3 inning, striking out a batter.
